Boise Hempfest is a free, family-friendly cannabis education festival with live music, vendors, entertainment, expert speakers, giveaways, and more. Licensed and sanctioned by the original and iconic Seattle Hempfest, Boise Hempfest got its start as a “protestival” – combining the attractions of a festival with a strong statement of peaceful protest against cannabis criminalization. Boise Hempfest continues to operate in that spirit today, educating Idaho’s residents and campaigning for cannabis reform in this state where it is still criminalized. Visitors can learn more about cannabis and the War on Drugs at the Enchanted Hemposium, experience live art demonstrations, shop the Vendor Village and Munchies Markets, relax in the beer garden, and enjoy live music, dancers, and more. A special Kid Land play area will keep the youngest visitors entertained. Leashed dogs are also welcome.
